Customer List (Prospects)
This report is grouped by rep by customer. It shows customer contact information, vendor customer number, and communications for customers with "Prospect" status. It is an excellent tool for following-up a lead provided by a vendor or other lead resource (referred by). The report is available from the Vendor or Customer form <Reports> drop lists.
Below the customer contact and vendor customer number, the communications journal entries are shown in descending order from the most recent to the oldest. This way, the reader can see what progress has been made in developing each prospect lead.
When this report is run from the customer form, the report will inherit any filter placed on the form. For example, one can right-click on the name of the rep and then select <Filter by Selection> so that only "Prospects" for that rep are shown on the report.
On the customer form, place a check in <All Customers> if you would like for the report to show all prospects filtered for any filter placed on the customer form.
Tip: If the lead is provided by a vendor, add a vendor customer number for that customer and enter an estimated value in dollar volume for the previous year in the <Note>. One can also set the terms that the customer is qualified for and what price list they are qualified for. Set the <Referred By> field to the vendor's name that referred them as shown in the above example as "World Wide Importz Trade Show" above.
