The Contact Form
Centralize contact information for your customers, vendors, parent
companies, and employees.
Any company may have an unlimited number of contacts and any contact may be associated
with an unlimited number of companies.
Click
the Parent, Customer, Vendor etc.. tab to view the different forms. Points of interest
are noted below each form.
- A contact is instantly located
by first or last name with the Contact Name droplist
- Double clicking the contact's Company
Association instantly links the user to the company's record
- Enter the date and time for a
communication's follow-up and a reminder goes directly into your
Microsoft
Outlook Calendar
- Hyperlink to
the contact's web page or an important, related document on your local drive or network
using the URLink
- If you have Microsoft
Word, click the WordMerge button above to open
Word
with a sample envelope and form letter pre-addressed to the contact. A hyperlink to the
finished document would be created for you so that when the customer calls, you could snap
it up right in front of you.
- When the user clicks the Email
address above, the user's e-mail program opens a new pre-addressed e-mail
message.
A communications entry is automatically created.
- Select a phone number and Auto-dial
it: A date and time stamped journal entry will be added
